And Shes Buying a Stairway to Heaven As the song says, “Yes, there are two paths you can go by; But in the long run; There’s still time to change; The road you’re on” also as the song says, “and it makes me wonder” leading me to ask you, which path you are on? If by chance you don’t know which song this is, it is a song off the fourth album of one of the best selling albums ever in history, written and sang by Led Zeppelin, an English rock and roll band formed in 1968 which heavy, guitar-driven sound regarded it as one of the first heavy metal bands whose individualistic style drew from many sources and transcends any one genre named, “Stairway to Heaven.” It’s a rock and roll classic which was never released as a single yet is often the most requested and most played album-oriented rock FM radio song which in 2005 was voted as having the greatest guitar solo of all time per a “Guitar World” held poll of readers.1 Although it was released in 1971, I first heard it around the year 1979. So, which path are you on with regard to your getting to Heaven? Led Zeppelin was right in their song; there truly are two and only two paths for each of us to follow; the right one and the wrong one. One and only one path is the actual path to Heaven. Which path are you on? There are many paths out there stating that they will get you to Heaven. I can guarantee to you that there is only one “true” path to Heaven. Here’s a hint, it isn’t as the song states either as you cannot “purchase” or “work” your way into Heaven. “Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6) The only way into Heaven (being with the Father [God]) is to place your faith into Jesus Christ (but through me), God’s only begotten Son. You may be thinking, “the religions of Mormon, Muslim, Islam, Buddhist, Scientologist, Jehovah Witness, and the countless other religious convictions and beliefs out there stating that they are a path to Heaven (or some state of paradise) too and that all religions are the same. So why should I believe you?” Well, you don’t have to believe me and I’m not asking you to believe me. I’m asking you to check out what it is that I am telling you and that you check it out with an open mind so that you will know the truth from your own investigation. Of all the “religions” in the world, which one of them...

What are you afraid of? Theres no need to fear! Today there’s so much going on in the political world that well, lets face it, does not give me the most confidence in our government leadership. Now I’m not just talking about the so called leadership that we are supposed to have in Washington, D.C. either. I’m talking about all levels from homeowners associations, city, county, state, USA, with all other countries included and all levels that may be in between. There seems to be no leadership as unemployment is going up, markets are going down, retirement plans are dropping, taxes are going up, it’s harder to make ends meet, crime rates are going up, and it seems like everyday there’s a new murder with many multiple killings and suicides increasing. All that along with the things that I didn’t mention like the talks of (dependent upon who you listen to) global warming, global heating, earthquakes, volcanoes, swine flu, cancer, HIV, AIDS, along with a host of other stuff that could happen to you makes for a rather very scary world we live in doesn’t it? With the horror movies touch of today’s media it makes the world feel even more scary too! Of all listed above, what are you afraid of? Or do you fear something which is not on that list? Some people are afraid to die. Some people “say” that they do not fear death. Some people live their life as if to “say” that they do not fear death. These people all fear death. Do you? You and I do not have to fear anything. We need to be afraid of nothing as long as we have placed our faith in God’s gift to us. Accepting God’s gift to you costs you nothing and is very freeing because you no longer need to be afraid. Think of how much relief you will have from the world of troubles with your choice to place your faith into God and accept His free gift to you. Read the following verses from the Holy Bible and see how much God loves you and me with these promises He made to you and me. If you accept Him and the free gift He has offered to you, you will feel His protection and perfect love for you. Psalms 56:4 - In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me? Psalms 56:11 - In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me? Proverbs 3:25 - Do not be afraid of sudden fear Nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes; Isaiah 12:2 - "Behold,...
